Privacy Policy
YOUR PRIVACY
At Fidelity Residential, respecting and assuring the privacy and security of your personal information is important to us. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It is designed to inform you of the types of information we collect, how we use that information, and the circumstances under which we will share it among our corporate affiliates and lending institutions.
This site uses a feature of your browser called a "cookie" to assign your computer a unique "User I.D.". Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to find out the identity of any user.
HOW OUR WEBSITE MEASURES VISITS, AND THE TOOLS IT USES
Google Analytics. Our pages, including our quote request forms, use Google Analytics, a Google service that counts visits and shows us which pages are used and how people found us. It places cookies on your browser and sends Google the page you are on (with any personal link codes removed), the site that sent you, your device and browser type and similar technical details. We have turned off Google's advertising features and Google signals for our analytics. We do not send Google your name, contact details or anything you type into a form. Pages you reach through a personal link, such as an application, a document to sign, a term sheet or a rehab budget, do not use it.
Google Ads tag. Our pages also load Google's advertising tag, so we can learn whether a visit that began with a click on one of our Google ads led to a quote request. When you send a quote request, see a calculator result or ask for one of our guides, and our system has saved it, the tag tells Google that a request was made. It does not send your name, email address, phone number, answers or loan information. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the Google Ads tag.
Where you came from. When you arrive from an ad, one of our emails or another website, we keep a note of it in a cookie on your browser for up to 90 days: the campaign labels in the link, the code Google adds to an ad click, the first page you saw on our site, and the name of the site that sent you. It does not contain your name or contact details. If you send us a quote request, this note is saved with your request in our customer records so we know which campaign brought it.
Our own record of key steps. Our server records a few steps on our site: starting a quote, each step of the quote reached, confirming the phone code, sending a request, and tapping our phone number, our email address or our booking calendar. Each entry holds a random number stored in your browser, the page, the site that sent you, the campaign labels and ad click code described above, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. It does not hold your network address or anything you type. Entries are deleted after 13 months.
Our calculators and guides. When you use our down payment assistance estimator, DSCR calculator or assets-as-income calculator, the figures you enter stay in your browser while you fill them in. To see your result, we ask for your name, email address and mobile number, and we text a code to that number to confirm it. When you continue, we save your contact details, the answers you entered, your result, and the time and wording of your agreement to be contacted, in our customer records. When you ask for one of our guides, we save your contact details, the guide you asked for and whether you chose email or text, and we send the guide that way. We use this information to send your result or guide, to follow up about your request by email and text message, and so a licensed loan officer can answer your questions. A link in our emails lets you reopen your calculator result; the saved result holds your answers but not your name, email address or phone number. If you arrived from an ad, one of our emails or another website, the note described under "Where you came from" is saved with your request.
Text messages. We send text messages only to a number confirmed with a code, about the request you made. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of any loan.
Chat. Our pages load a chat window provided by PowerObjects (PowerChat). If you use it, what you write is sent to us through that service.
Reviews. Our pages load ReviewPops, which shows recent customer reviews in a small window. ReviewPops also loads a script it calls a retargeting pixel, which is used to show advertising to people who have visited a website.
Our emails. Our marketing emails contain a small image that tells us when an email was opened.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though our forms need JavaScript. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to share your information for advertising and do not load the Google Ads tag.
This site contains links to other sites. If you use a link to visit the site of another company, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of that company or its site.
